a MASSIVE onsite prayer venture...
Break the Rules...Pray with your eyes open!
Prayerwalking is a delightfully simple yet potent way to pray. We simply walk through the
streets of the village or city we're praying for and use what we see and sense as fuel for our prayers.
What will you see?
People. Each of whom is created in the image of the Father, and designed to display His glory. You will almost certainly be the first person to pray for those you see in the name of Jesus.
Places. You'll see homes spilling over with hospitable families. You'll see schools overflowing with children eager to practice English. You'll see mosques and Mayor's offices, tea houses and ancient fortresses, factories and fields ready for harvest. Each place will pull a new prayer of blessing from your heart.
Tea glasses. Yes, you will see (and drink) more glasses of tea than you ever imagined possible. As friendly locals invite you to join them in this age-old tradition, you can pray blessings on them - sometimes out loud, sometimes quietly.
What will you sense?
Open Hearts. There are "people of peace" as described in Luke 10 - waiting for your arrival and your proclamation of peace.
Closed Hearts. You can pray in faith for the day their hearts will be open.
The Father's Heart. As you make the effort to be the hands and feet of Jesus, the Father shares His heart with you - enabling you to pray "onsite with insight".
